I am looking for a lowe alpine contour mountain 40?

I can’t find it anywhere (in decent condition)!

I have two packs:

Osprey Atmos 65 Small
Lowe Alpine Contour Mountain 40

The ONLY reason I got the Osprey is because I needed more room for longer trips. The Lowe 40 is a great pack – comfortable and bomb proof.

I won’t sell you mine however – I’ve had mine for around 12 years now and I’ve hauled everything from camping equipment to text books to laptops on foot and on a bike – its too good a pack to let go of.

You are searching for a great pack and good luck finding one. You won’t be disappointed.

That said, how to find one…. Here’s a couple of ideas…

This one is as of the time I write this going for 7 dollars US – looks beat up and appears to have a broken zipper – but this is a tough pack – hardly worth crying over even if it doesn’t work out. A zipper isn’t hard to repair either. I had a mis feeding problem once…. Used some plyers to clamp down the handle feed and it was right as rain again.

I think your second link is probably your best bet – it looks like the link implies its available – is it out of stock?

You also might consider a newer product – most these days are hydration compatible whereas the contour 40 isn’t…. unless you just stuff your it in there and feed it between the top zipper. The 40 could probably handle a 3 liter or smaller without issue if you watch the tube and keep it toward your back.
